My Book Journey
I authored the books titled 'Aesthetics & Motivations in Civil Engineering-A Quest for Beauty' & 'Time Management of Construction Projects'. In the first book, I delve into the concept of civil engineering motivations and its connections to various construction methods. I provide ten compelling examples that illustrate the importance of engineering aesthetics and the underlaying motivations in construction that also drive the pursuit of beauty. While much is written and said about beauty and aesthetics in pure science, this is the first time that the same is being identified and discussed in this Book for civil engineering / construction.
In my second book "Time Management of Construction Projects" the subject is presented in a comprehensive manner touching all other issues as Time Management has impact on several not so obvious issues also. Thus, issues such as Design Basis Reports, Schedule Risk Management, Method Statement, Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques which is highly recommended for managing construction works are covered in this book.
TMT Bars
The picture is a schematic layout of the manufacturing of TMT reinforcement steel bars. These bars offer tremendous advantage and simultaneously of high strength with almost no additional cost involved during manufacturing. This is discussed in detail in the Book.

Who Should Read this Book
(i) Students: The objective of teaching/learning is to impart the required knowledge and skill to the students. But it is important that there is complete understanding of the issues. This book provides wealth of knowledge related to civil engineering and sincere attempt is made to explain why / the motivations. This makes all the difference. This book mostly discusses issues regarding practical/on-the-job matters which the students should learn about the same as soon as possible.
(ii) Engineers: Experiences or new engineers can use this book on the similar lines as mentioned for the students. Thereafter they can seek more information on other issues of interest to them from other sources such as the internet. This book will pave the path for the practicing engineers to become life-long learners..
