I authored a book titled 'Aesthetics & Motivations in Civil Engineering-A Quest for Beauty'. In this book, I delve into the concept of civil engineering beauty and its relevance to various construction methods. I provide ten compelling examples that illustrate the importance of engineering aesthetics and the motivations in construction that drive the pursuit of beauty. While much is written and said about beauty and aesthetics in pure science, this is the first time that the same is being identified and discussed in this Book for civil engineering / construction.
The picture is a schematic layout of the manufacturing of TMT reinforcement steel bars. These bars offer tremendous advantage and simultaneously of high strength with almost no additional cost involved during manufacturing. This is discussed in detail in the Book.
